Discuss the differences between an engaging and non-engaging abutments.
Understand how to select the correct locator heights for lower overdentures.

Prerequisites

This course is appropriate for dentists, lab technicians, and dental auxiliaries of any skill level.  This includes those just wanting to learn more about implant restorations in general or those who already have an in-depth understanding but want to master a digital workflow.   You do not need previous experience with any softwares but should have a basic knowledge of computers and implants.

You Should Bring:

A computer with the free “Blue Sky Plan” software already downloaded for the hands-on exercises.  It is HIGHLY recommended to bring a mouse instead of using the trackpad.  Ideal minimum computer specifications would be an i7 or higher processor, 32 GB of RAM, an NVIDIA 1060 (or equivalent) video card or higher.  There should be  2-4 gb of memory dedicated specifically to the video card.  It is also recommended to download the free program “MeshMixer” before the course.
